There are moments in this work that stay with you.
Not because of the flowers or the gowns, though they were extraordinary.
But because of the people.
This month, I had the honor of producing one of the largest editorials I have ever been part of at Aldrich Mansion in Rhode Island. Over 30 talented vendors. 25 photographers. 13 incredible models.
What we created together was not simply content.
It was connection.
It was legacy.
It was art.
Planning this alongside Brianna Graca Weddings was one of the greatest gifts of the experience. There is something powerful about collaborating with someone who values structure, flow, and intention as deeply as you do. We refined layouts. We walked the space multiple times. We talked through pacing and sightlines. Every decision was considered not just for how it would look, but for how it would feel.
Editorials at this scale require clarity and leadership. There are timelines, freight deliveries, lighting adjustments, installation windows, and countless moving pieces that must align seamlessly. Structure matters. It allows creativity to rise without chaos.

The florals were built with restraint and intention from the start. Every arrangement was shaped to complement the architecture rather than compete with it. We paid attention to line, height, and negative space so the installations felt sculptural and elevated instead of overly full. Nothing was accidental. Every stem had a purpose.
Hair and makeup artists stayed attuned to light and movement throughout the day, refining looks between sets so the models felt polished but still like themselves. It was subtle work, but it made a difference in every frame.
The gowns and menswear were selected for their structure and movement. We cared about how fabric fell on the staircase, how it caught the light beneath the painted ceilings, how it translated in still imagery.
The cake by Hanami Cake Design was thoughtfully scaled to the room. Its detailing echoed the artistry above us without overpowering the space. It felt aligned, not ornamental.

Paper goods, rentals, and production elements were layered with the same care. Placement was intentional. Proportion mattered. We adjusted and refined until the room felt cohesive from every angle.
Nothing was placed without thought. That is what makes design feel effortless.
The history of Aldrich Mansion made it the perfect setting. Built beginning in 1896 by U.S. Senator Nelson W. Aldrich and completed over 16 years by nearly 200 craftsmen, many from Europe, the estate originally known as Indian Oaks became the site of the 1901 wedding of Abby Aldrich to John D. Rockefeller Jr. A union of two prominent American families. Since 1939, it has served the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence and continues today as a place where meaningful gatherings unfold within its storied walls.
As we designed this editorial, we allowed the mansion itself to lead. The hand painted ceilings in the grand ballroom, the brushwork, the palette, the architectural details all informed our creative direction. Every floral selection, textile choice, and paper element was chosen to feel like a natural extension of the artistry already embedded in the space. Refined. Romantic. Rich in detail.

More than anything, I am grateful.
Grateful for collaboration.
For professionalism.
For generosity.
For the way each creative not only executed their role beautifully, but created space for others to shine.
To every vendor, every photographer, every model, thank you for saying yes. Thank you for trusting the vision. Thank you for contributing not only your craft, but your heart.
Producing something at this scale requires structure, leadership, and an unwavering standard. It requires caring about the inches. About the transitions. About how a space feels when someone first walks in. That level of intention is what I bring to every wedding I plan.
This editorial was not just beautiful. It was aligned. And that alignment is what I care about most.
