The best weddings are thoughtfully built. They are shaped through thousands of decisions that influence how a celebration is experienced, how guests interact, and how memories are made. Every detail, from the flow of the weekend to the design of the space, is considered through the lens of connection.
Through our Full Planning & Design service, we guide every aspect of the process, bringing clarity to decisions, structure to complexity, and confidence to the planning experience. The result is a celebration that feels effortless to attend, beautiful to experience, and remembered long after the weekend has ended.
At Charity Lynn Weddings, we work with couples who believe a wedding should feel worthy of both the commitment being made and the people gathered to celebrate it. Through full planning and design, we create highly personalized wedding weekends at private estates, historic properties, and tented venues throughout Maine and New England.
Every design decision and logistical detail is approached through the lens of connection, allowing our couples to be fully present with the people they love while celebrating one of life's most significant occasions.
My inspiration begins with family.
I grew up surrounded by examples of enduring love, faithful commitment, and the importance of gathering together. Long before I became a wedding planner, I learned that some of life's most meaningful moments happen around a dinner table, during a celebration, or in the company of the people who know us best.
One of my favorite family stories begins with my great grandparents. When my great grandfather stood to greet my great grandmother for the first time, he immediately tripped and fell flat on his face. Somehow, that less-than-graceful introduction became the beginning of a 75-year marriage marked by devotion, humor, and unwavering commitment. Their story reminds me that the strongest marriages are not built on perfection. They are built over time through love, resilience, and shared experiences.
Perhaps that is why I am so drawn to weddings.
I am inspired by the parents who sacrificed so their children could reach this moment. By lifelong friendships that have weathered decades. By grandparents who travel across the country to witness a ceremony. By siblings raising a glass during a heartfelt toast. By conversations that continue long after dinner has ended and dance floors filled with people celebrating not only a wedding, but a marriage.
I am inspired by gatherings that bring people closer together. By celebrations that feel welcoming, thoughtful, and deeply personal. By the memories created when everyone who matters most is gathered in one place.
